The Foulbriars

The Foulbriar dwarves are an old clan of hill dwarves from south of the border mountains. In recent history, they were chased from their homes by hordes of goblins who invaded the area. The Foulbriars can be found throughout the northern reaches of the continent, and many have scattered over the years to take up residence with the Habens, Kreagars, Bangalors and other mountain dwarf clans across the continent. Their closest allied dwarven clan is the Boulderkinds, far to the northwest, and a few Foulbriars have ended up there.

The Mürmaids have run into three Foulbriars. First was the dwarf harpooned on the docks of Meis Osley, Clyde being the second, and the dwarf found in the hold of the slavers' riverboat being the last. (we can assume that many more will be met after the writing of this post, since they are numerous in the area, and are scattered throughout).
